The Perak crisis scenario is a clear power struggle between establishment Barisan Nasional and anti-establishment Pakatan Rakyat.
It is just a battle of no ends. You may win the battle but the historian may say in the future that you have lost. It is like you won a war but your villages had burned, a lot of your children and folks died, your properties had been destroyed.
I wonder why Perak is so important to Barisan Nasional as they govern the whole Malaysia and again why is Perak make a difference? In this case, public perception is more important to either party.
I would say who is the victim of who. The historians are watching and they may decide on the coming General Election.

Actually I see the the scenario from different perspective. It is clear a major opportunity for Barisan Nasional to gain the people's support. What they have to do is retreat but play a cold war and play like they are the victims of a power crazy Nizar and the Pakatan Rakyat. They have the majority and they are not losing. Instead, Pakatan Rakyat is on the losing side. Play the rakyat's mood towards Barisan Nasional. I'm sure they will have Malays, Chinese, and Indian 's support. Two or three months from now Barisan Nasional rally in Perak will attract 50,000 people irrespective of race. Believe me.
Another thing is stop playing racial card. The more BN playing the racial card the more Chinese and Indian hate Barisan Nasional. It's not about race. BN has Chinese and Indian in the state assembly as well. Hee's image may be tarnished, but Ganesan is the god send.
