Hantu

Bercakap mengenai hantu. Teringat dulu-dulu aku ni memang penakut budaknya. Nak masuk bilik air takut, nak mandi takut, nak masuk bilik tidur takut, nak masuk tidur pun takut, nak pergi dapur pun takut. Ada sahaja benda-benda karut menjelma di fikiran. Tapi sebab dah masuk asrama, aku terpaksa melawan semua ini.

Adik perempuan aku umur 12 pun penakut. Tapi kalau kat rumah memang kena psycho la ngan aku.

"Aku dah hidup 20 tahun, tak pernah aku nampak hantu kat rumah ni".

This is a comment from Malaysia-Today which I think very creative and interesting. This is regarding oil price hike declared by Malaysian government during our Independence Day.

I am a chinese. I earn well enough to feed my family, pay my car and house, and although i do feel a little pinch from this slight increase it doesn't really hurt me that bad.

What about those fools that supports UMNO that is still trying to make a living in sarawak and sabah that is so supportive of UMNO? Can you survive? If you can, then i encourage the government to double the price of petrol. I CAN STILL FREAKING AFFORD IT!

But can you?

Aku tarik balik kenyataan 'Bodoh punya Bank Islam'.

Bank Islam sebenarnya pandai, tak sampai 5 minit dia dah refund RM 30 handphone reload aku. Bagus. Tak banyak soal. Siap dia sendiri yang offer nak refund. Agaknya banyak kes macam ini. Kenapa Bank Islam punya online banking tersangatlah 'strict'? Baru idle dalam 2 minit sudah automatically log out? Apakah?

Apa-apa pun CIMB clicks paling best. Ramai pekerja, budak muda, pelajar menggunakan service CIMB clicks. Tersusun. Tak bersepah. Senang difahami.

Satu kelebihan Bank Islam setakat ini membuat persefahaman dengan Tabung Haji untuk mengeluarkan duit Tabung Haji (TH tiada khidmat ATM). Jadi kalau nak check balance tabung haji tak payah susah-susah nak pergi Tabung Haji. Pergi ATM Bank Islam sudeh ..

PAS and Pakatan Rakyat

There is a polemic out there since the 55th PAS Muktamar which is the issue of Unity Government, first introduced by Hadi Awang, President of PAS. On the other hand, another cleric of PAS, Nik Aziz went all out against the Unity talk with PAS's long term nemesis, UMNO.

So it is written in history, Nasharuddin Mat Isa had beaten another two deputy president candidates, Husam Musa and Mohamad Sabu. Nasharuddin is a good leader and is known a good boy of PAS. He is very loyal and have good leadership characteristics and we never heard anything bad about him since the Reformasi movement era.

As for Husam, he is a golden boy of Nik Aziz and there was a rumour he will be the next Kelantan Menteri Besar. That is the reason why he was brought to contest in Kijang, one of Kelantan States legislative. Always he, Husam Musa attend the meeting of Pakatan Rakyat coalition which involving PAS, PKR and DAP. We all know the de facto leader of the coalition who made this coalition happen, if not Anwar Ibrahim. There is perception he is too close to the de facto leader, Anwar Ibrahim.

Mohamad Sabu is a well known a good PAS leader and an activist. A good preacher who can makes a stunning, provocative and direct approach when he speaks and he can influences the people for an instance. Though many UMNO leaders didn't like him in early days because he can makes a difference as Mahfuz and Nasharuddin in early Reformasi era.

I dont' want to explain any detail of the differences of opinions in PAS nowadays but the way I see it, PAS is ready to make a step forward regardless of what people say about them.

Hadi Awang, Nasharuddin and Mustafa Ali will make sure the party is strong as ever and protected the interest of the Malays. Not many UMNO Malays will shift their votes to PKR and DAP and they are not sure with PAS either. Hadi Awang will gains their confidence to replace UMNO and that is what Hadi Awang is doing. PAS will come first.

Meanwhile, Nik Aziz, Husam Musa and Khalid Samad will continue to make the Pakatan Rakyat coalition stronger and ready to involve in the new government should they win in the 13th General Election.

I like the terminology of one of the online newspapers, "PAS is dancing in their on tune".

1) I went to Kuantan, Cherating and Kemaman for holidays with my family.
2) Reading a lot of internet stuffs especially politics.
3) Playing and making my sister mad because she looked cute when she is angry.
4) Reading a few pages on Twilight novel which takes forever to finish.
5) We had PAS political party assembly in Shah Alam. I did take really deep analysis and it was interesting. Different views can be given from different perspective.

Penanti is not Perak

So it's confirmed that Barisan Nasional will not contest in Penanti. It will be likely a contest between PKR and Independent candidate.

Will Barisan Nasional officially throw their support on the Independent candidate?

I think PKR will win but with reducing majority. After all, Penanti is a PAS stronghold and they have an issue on Penang PAS Youth want to contest in that seat. Nik Aziz had interfered in that case emphasizing that Muslim should not take back what they had give. Penanti is given to PKR and it is the right of PKR to contest in that seat again according to agreement between Pakatan Rakyat coalition.

Actually it will be more fun when Pakatan Rakyat will fight against an unknown enemy. You don't realize the strength of your enemy and Pakatan will know it when Election Commision declaring the results at the night of 31st May 2009.

How the polarity of the voters in the Penanti and how they vote will be a major topic discussions. How Barisan Nasional supporters give their votes to an independet candidate? Is Perak fiasco affected the Penanti by-election?

One thing for sure, Penanti is not Perak.

Anwar and Barisan Nasional

At this state when I wrote this, I think Barisan Nasional is at its lowest point in any angle be it public perception, economic solutions, internal and external affairs, Perak crisis and don't forget Penanti by-election.

If Anwar's plan is going to meet the target, Barisan Nasional will lost in the 13th General Election. Accept the post 16th September's new government, Anwar's always make an impressive outcome. The first thing he did when went out from jail, he visited Pak Lah during Hari Raya and that made many reformists angry like mad. However, now if we look back, it was the right thing to do.

He also critized Najib like hell and on the other hand, he just touched a little on Pak Lah. This also had an issue among the oppositions especially PAS. Now if we look back, it was also the right thing to do.

In oppostion perspective, I didn't agree with Penanti by-election. However now I think it was a very good move and Barisan Nasional's late decision make them like a stupid coward stuck with their balls between their legs.

I will reserve my opinions on Najib.

Najib's blunder ..

Kita bersedia berdepan dengan rakyat - Najib Razak

Is Najib is fighting with the rakyat?

I think the correct words are 'Kita bersedia berdepan dengan Pakatan Rakyat'.

Or , 'Kita bersedia berdepan dengan pembangkang'.

Or, 'Kita bersedia menghadapi pilihanraya'.

I know what Najib really meant. But hey, people may get confused, and people may interpreted it the wrong way. You might as well say people are stupid.

Politics is about perception anyway. I think Barisan Nasional is facing a major image crisis in the nation today. Anything related to Barisan Nasional is against the rakyat.

How Barisan Nasional can win back the people support?

This is the sequences of events that might help Barisan Nasional in the 13th General Election related to the latest Perak fiasco:

1) Najib hold special conference that announces Perak fiasco to put to rest.

2) Zamry and all the BN state representatives agreed to low down the fiasco.

3) Najib tells Barisan Nasional supporters in Perak to calm down and sacrifice for the benefits of the state.

4) BN will take over the state government through the state assembly channel.

5) Enquiries to the minority government Pakatan (Nizar) to remove the state speaker (Siva).

6) To stop any political manuever.

7) To not bring up further cases to the court.

8) That BN will sacrifice for the interest of the people and agreed that Pakatan is a power crazy government.

9) Build up the sympathizer moods towards Barisan Nasional.

10) Held a rally 3 months further to , 'Membantah kerajaan minority Pakatan Rakyat'.

11) Warn the royal to deny any fresh election.

12) SPR agrees not to held elections related to several problems ..

13) That BN is ready to face election.

14) Use the media such as television to portrayed Pakatan as a power crazy government.

15) 'Minority government' should be played excessively.

16) Anwar should be portrayed as problem maker. Bring back the case of 31 MP's related to the post 16th September.

17) 1Malaysian propaganda.

18) Najib as a solver and a true leader.

19) Malaysia economy propaganda.

20) Mahathir, Abdullah, Najib, BN, MCA, MIC, Gerakan and Multi-racial.

21) BN is the victim.

Perak, Pakatan Rakyat and Barisan Nasional

The Perak crisis scenario is a clear power struggle between establishment Barisan Nasional and anti-establishment Pakatan Rakyat.

It is just a battle of no ends. You may win the battle but the historian may say in the future that you have lost. It is like you won a war but your villages had burned, a lot of your children and folks died, your properties had been destroyed.

I wonder why Perak is so important to Barisan Nasional as they govern the whole Malaysia and again why is Perak make a difference? In this case, public perception is more important to either party.

I would say who is the victim of who. The historians are watching and they may decide on the coming General Election.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Actually I see the the scenario from different perspective. It is clear a major opportunity for Barisan Nasional to gain the people's support. What they have to do is retreat but play a cold war and play like they are the victims of a power crazy Nizar and the Pakatan Rakyat. They have the majority and they are not losing. Instead, Pakatan Rakyat is on the losing side. Play the rakyat's mood towards Barisan Nasional. I'm sure they will have Malays, Chinese, and Indian 's support. Two or three months from now Barisan Nasional rally in Perak will attract 50,000 people irrespective of race. Believe me.

Another thing is stop playing racial card. The more BN playing the racial card the more Chinese and Indian hate Barisan Nasional. It's not about race. BN has Chinese and Indian in the state assembly as well. Hee's image may be tarnished, but Ganesan is the god send.

Barcelona, Perak State Assembly, and FYP

This week is a very tense and interesting week. I had my FYP presentation on Thursday and I think I did excellent. Thursday also was the day for Perak state assembly which turned into chaotic incidents. It was like a bunch of adults fighting like kids and I wonder where the maturity went to. BN is a power crazy government, which rules Malaysia like they inherited the land from their mother. However I have a great respect for the rightful state speaker, Mr. Siva who stands still for the Pakatan Rakyat.

The night before, we had a Champions League game between Chelsea and Barcelona and the results was a draw (1-1) and Barcelona went to the Final thanks to away goal rules. Generally it was the best game I had ever seen since the 2006 World Cup Semifinal between Germany and Italy which ended with (0-2) . It was a tense game, playing beautiful attacking from Barcelona, although I would say the referee is stupid. A flip flop decision from the referee and I dissapointed with the red-card decision for Abidal. Anelka is a great actor and a very stupid referee made the drama more interesting.

There were a few hand ball incidents in the penalty area made by Barcelona players and the referee didn't give any penalties for Chelsea. However I think it's fair since Barcelona was playing down to ten men from the 74th minute. Chelsea playing like a coward and they don't deserve to be the Champions. I don't think a team playing against a team of ten men, questioning every moment for easy goals like penalties deserve to be the Champions.

As a matter of fact, I never watch any final match for Champions League, European Cup and even the World Cup since 1998. I do think Semifinal is a game to watch (usually either one of the semifinals) because the game is more interesting and more tense. Everybody is fighting to get a place to the final. If there are two great teams playing in the semifinal, then it is obviously the game to watch. However I will break the trend as Barcelona meet Manchester United in the Champions League final and I hope Barcelona will win.

Superheroes revisited

When we were kids , all of us had favorite superheroes that we admired. There are a lot of them such as Superman, Batman, Ultraman, Spiderman, X-Men, etc.

I listed three famous superheores that I think should be on the top three:

1) Batman

The reason why I choose Batman is that Bruce Wayne is a successful and rich businessman in the Gotham City. Unlike many superheroes, he has no special superpower that I think ridiculuous and it will be stupid to have one. He uses his intellect, martial arts, science and technology against evil and bad people.

Although he's rich, he is very down to earth person and that is the reason why I like him. He is a normal person.

So Batman is in my top list.

2) Superman

He is at the second list, because he is too strong. His superpower make me sick and make me feel annoying to the highest degree.

He is powerful and the only thing can make him weak is the kryptonite which I think quite boring.

Nevertheless, he is strong. He also has very high self-esteem. He stands still and tall. So he is at the second.

What make him more interesting is that he is a loser as a reporter in his secret life. Wearing glasses and suddenly change himself to a superhero, a large contradiction, but amazing.

3) Professor X / Professor Xavier

He is one of the X-men characters among Wolverine, Pheoenix, Magneto and much more. His speciality of reading and controlling people's mind is amazing.

He is unique although he is physically weak. For me, the power of mind is the real power ever. That's why I like him.

So he is at number three.

....100) Spiderman

Spiderman is stupid teenager who has problem with his life and the personality crisis is funny. Spiderman is the weakest character among the superheroes. I don't like his so called spider-webs power. It's disgusting. Plus, he walks and climbs the building like a retard.

What the heck a superhero 'jalan terbongkok-bongkok macam orang nyanyuk?'

Analyzing and Prediction

So this week I have watched two Champions League games which Chelsea draw with Liverpool (4-4) and Barcelona beat Bayern Munich (1-0). Chelsea went to the semi-finals with aggregate (7-5) and Barcelona with aggregate (5-0).

My prediction is Barcelona will meet Manchester United in the final and Barcelona is declared the Champions thanks to Thierry Henry.

Analyzing and Predicting is one of the skills that everybody have but with different capabilities. It can improve according to time and experience.

Say it football, shares, economy, politics, all of them have the essence of prediction. The more accurate you are, the better.

Actually I am not a hardcore fan of football but I enjoyed analyzing the strength of a team and as well as enjoyed the prediction I made.

In 2002, when I were at the secondary school, I supported Brazil as my favourite team to win the World Cup and they did. In 2006, I predicted Barcelona to win the Champions League and Italy to win the World Cup. I'm slightly wrong in 2008 where I didn't choose likeable Manchester United to win the Champions League but they did beating Chelsea through the Final and I'm happy for them as they are my favourite team in EPL.

I predicted Najib won't be the 6th Prime Minister but he did. Yet, I'm wrong.

So here is the man who will makes a difference in Champions League this season.

Thierry Henry.

Thierry Henry was the man I hate the most in EPL when he was with Arsenal. Now, I like him very much because he is playing with the best team in the world, Barcelona. Messi is such a great player but I think Henry will be at the front page in the news tomorrow.

Ronaldo is a good player too but I don't think he is excellent playing in a such a big game. Henry lead Arsenal to the Final in 2006 CL and lost to Barcelona. He scored playing against Brazil in the WC 2006 thus Brazil were out in the quarter-final. He decided to join Barca which I believe a huge decision ever he had made leaving his lovely team Arsenal.

So, I want to see if my prediction is correct.

Prayer and Football

I believe all of us have hope and faith regardless what God you believe in and what religion you are into. Even atheist do have hope based on logical facts, although they not believe in God. They may believe hard work is the fundamental principle of success.

We Muslims have three fundamental principles of success which are Effort, Prayer (Dua'a) and Tawakkal (Depending on the God with due reliance). I am not into religion anyway ( for now).

I have googled "Dear god please awarded", and I got a handful of interesting results.

  • "Dear God please don't kill us all"
  • "Dear God if you cannot make me thin, please make my friends fat"
  • "Dear God please give me bail out so I can believe"
  • "Dear God, please exist"
It is Champions League season and Barcelona beat Bayern Munich at Nou Camp 4-0. It is a superb attacking trio of Henry, Eto'o and Lionel Messi.

  • "Dear God, please awarded Barcelona, Champions League Cup"
Amin.

Bila nak kahwin?

Somebody post this item at online friends-social network. Usually I ignored this kind of posting, but this one has caught my eye.

Bila nak kawin???
Di sini orang bertanya
Di sana orang menyoal
Tak kira teman mahu kenalan
Asyik-asyik itu je yang jadi bualan
Begitulah nasib orang bujang
Tak kira lelaki mahupun perempuan
Bila nak kawin???
Keluarga pun dah mula risau
Si teruna, emak bimbang jadi bujang terlajak
Si dara, ayah takut bergelar andalusia
Bila nak kawin???
Jiran turut sama menumpang tanya
Bila dijawab jodoh belum ada
Kata mereka, kita kenalah usaha
Mandi bunga salah satu caranya
Tak pun mandi ais boleh dicuba (he..he..ni cadangan pelik kawan saya)
Bila nak kawin???
Aduuuhh...aku disoal lagi
Kawin??? Nak kawin dengan sapa?
Calon pun takde.
Hah!!! Awak tu memilih sangat agaknya
Ewah-ewah sedap sungguh mulut berkata
(aku ambil tunang @ suami kau, baru padan muka)
Bila nak kawin???
Akan ku kawin jam-jam ni juga ( haa...haa... haa)
Andai memilih suami semudah bershopping di pasar malam
Atau semudah membeli VCD cetak rompak
Atau sesenang memakan twisties..(yummyyyy y)
Bila nak kawin???
Aaahhh....sungguh aku bosan
Banyak yang lain boleh jadi persoalan
Kenapa asyik itu yang dihadapkan
Apa kita nak heran
Lambat cepatnya jodoh, Allah yang tentukan.
Bila nak kawin???
Pada yang masih bujang
Biarkanlah mereka terus bertanya
Usah ditunggu letih mulut mereka (Takkan letihnya sampai bebila..)
Kalau ada jodoh, Insya-Allah takkan ke mana.
Bila nak kawin???
Pada yang asyik menanya
Usah dirisaukan jodoh orang
Jaga masjid sendiri agar tidak goyang
Lain orang lain rezekinya
Syukurlah dengan apa yang kita ada.

Something To Be Thankful For

While I'm surfing the internet, I found out this poems which I find it very interesting.

I am thankful...

For the teeneger who is complaining about doing dishes because that means she is at home and not on the streets.

For the taxes that I pay because it means that I am employed.

For the mess to clean after a party because it means that I have been surrounded by friends.

For the clothes that fit a little too snug because it means I have enough to eat.

For my shadow that watches me work because it means I am out in the sunshine.

For a lawn that needs mowing, window that need cleaning and gutters that need fixing because it means I have a home.

For all the complaining I hear about the government because that means we have freedom to speech.

For the pile of laundry are ironing because it means I have clothes to wear.

For the alarm that goes off in the early morning hours because it means that I am alive.

and finally...

For too much email and letters because it means I have friends who are thinking of me...
